Apartamentos Siesta Dos

Apartamentos Siesta Dos is the name of the apartment building where our apartment is located. It is located about 1.8 mi from Port d'Alcúdia and about 2.8 mi from Alcúdia. You can walk to the beach from here in about 10-15 minutes.

The beach, Playa de Alcúdia

Playa de Alcúdia, or Platja d’Alcúdia as it is called in Catalan, is located just east of the apartment. The beach is 8.7 mi long and stretches from the port all the way to C’an Picafort in the south, where it changes its name to Playa de Muro.

Sun beds

Sun beds are available for a fee during the high season.

Shade

If the sun's rays get too hot, you can cool off in the shade of the conifers lining the beach.

The whole beach can be seen from the bridge at Port d'Alcúdia.

In the harbor area, where the beach ends, you will find many cafés and restaurants located around the square by the marina.

Old town

The old town of Alcúdia is known for its market which is held every Tuesday and Sunday. Here you'll find everything from clothes, souvenirs and groceries. There are also many small restaurants with good food within the city walls.

At the market you'll find locally produced fruits and nuts.
Clothes and accessories can also be found here.

The city wall

It's possible to take a stroll on top of the city wall and enjoy the views of the surrounding areas.

Narrow alleys

A large part of the city's origins are preserved from when it was built in the 14th century.
